Wendi Herbert Garnett is our Registered Dental Hygienist. She was graduated from the University of Louisiana at Monroe with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 1998 and became a member of our team. While in college Wendi was honored with the Golden Scaler award (presented to the top Dental Hygiene student in the class). Wendi was also included in Who´s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. A native of south Louisiana, Wendi and her husband Darryl and three children Layton, Emily and Natalie live in West Monroe. Wendi is the Fluoridation Chairperson for the Northeast Louisiana Dental Hygiene Association and she writes a monthly column for the local newspaper to help educate the public on the benefits of good oral health. Wendi truly has a passion for her profession, loves the dental team she works with and enjoys providing comprehensive dental care to all of her patients. Wendi also believes that her profession is a never ending journey of discovery and learning. She was one of the first hygienist´s in our area to become licensed to administer local anesthesia and she plans on pursuing her master´s degree in the near future.
