l. Sticky, chewy and hard foods can stick to or damage your temporaries. Please be careful, no gum, no caramels or other cadies, or sticky or hard foods while in temporaries.

2. Brush very well around your temporaries and use a water pik to massage and irrigate the gums. Do not floss unless instructed to do so and shown the proper way to floss a temporary.

3. Your gums will be inflamed for a few days following your appointing. You may notice a light gray appearance of the gum next to your teeth. This is just a normal process of healing after impressions for veneers or crowns and will heal and disappear in a few days.

4. If temporaries break or come loose, please call the office as soon as possible. Your teeth may shift if the temporaries are off for an extended period of time (this can make the final restorations not fit). Your teeth may also be very sensitive with out protection by the temporaries.
